Human Problem: Prescription medications can be expensive, even with healthcare insurance. People insured by Cambia wanted to shop around and save by purchasing prescription medications at the lowest cost possible, preferably at pharmacies closest to their location.

Cambia sought out an API solution for this product which allowed me to propose a seamless, integrated user experience with their member portal. I collaborated with Business, Engineering and Content Strategy on the prototype for several weeks.
When users were signed into the portal, their coverage calculated their Rx costs automatically, and it also prompted them for permission to use their location. Users could manually enter or change it during a search.
The search results were 'type-ahead style' which immediately informed them of what was available. Once a medication was selected, users could edit different aspects of it before finding it at the lowest price at a pharmacy closest to their location.
This project started just after the new Regence mobile visual design system shipped which allowed me to skip the wireframes stage and go right to high fidelity visual design.
While Business approved the UX solution, I left Cambia before the product was developed.
